UK Commercial Radio

Commercial radio in the UK has little in the way of Christian programming.  Those who run these private companies believe that their audiences are not interested, and from the 1990’s to date, Christian and religious programming has had less and less airtime.

Commercial radio has a significant audience among young people, and here at Revival we are always looking for ways to present the Good News of Jesus on these stations to reach people who will otherwise perhaps never hear.

Opportunities we have taken include:

Sunday breakfast shows on Arrow FM (Hastings), Sovereign Radio (Eastbourne), and Splash FM (Worthing)  – all discontinued by the stations in 2008.

Restricted service (RSL) stations including Hope FM, Eastbourne, in 1996, and Radio Airbourne, Eastbourne, continuing annually.

We have advertising campaigns at Christmas and Easter on radio stations across the UK.
